2017 | Exhibition & Presentation At McMaster
It’s a big room. A bank of windows on one side overlook the university campus. Reflecting in the glass, stand four of my pieces. It’s soon my time to take the podium where I was a guest presenter at the McMaster School of Divinity. It’s The Arts and the Bible Bingham Colloquium where my work is on exhibit and I presented my academic paper called “Portals of a Pilgrimage”, published through MDC.
It’s been a whirlwind month leading up to this point – first – hanging artwork in a variety of public spaces through McMaster. Everywhere there is a space, you can enjoy art. It’s a creative heaven!
Of course, throughout there was a lot of – writing, writing, writing!
Then the reception – lots of great conversations.
It seemed like only a moment since I stepped onto the podium, then it was over! You can see I’m talking about the piece Fairy Throne….
Looking back, I remember the great questions people asked. How wonderful to be part of such a lively discussion.
